Trinity Mirror plc is the UK’s largest newspaper publisher, with a portfolio of more than 500 media brands. Trinity Mirror required locally based HR expertise to support their divestiture strategy in Northern Ireland.

The project required the divestiture of staff from the News Letter and the Derry Journal group to the prospective transferee. The project involved the transfer of staff at multi site locations throughout N Ireland and covered the following areas:

1. Preparation and review of all HR processes, policies and procedures and terms and conditions for the due diligence process.
2. Joint TUPE consultation and integration planning.
3. Support to business as usual HR activity.
