Role Profile

A Think People Organisation & People Development Consultant role offers the opportunity for your passion and experience to develop through the design and delivery of innovative, blended and results focussed people development programmes.

The role will involve working with clients across a range of industry sectors, sizes and with varying development needs and contexts.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design inspired, innovative and results driven people development programmes that align with each client’s strategy, culture and specific needs, and delivering results and sustained benefit.
  • Deliver people development programmes and workshops, bringing energy, enthusiasm and depth to the learning experience.
  • Develop strong, long lasting client relationships to grow and maintain our existing relationships.
  • Project management of client projects through an organised, efficient and client centric service.
  • Retention of current clients, through exceptional understanding of their needs, delivery of results focussed services and strong relationships.
  • Development of ‘products’ and services utilising current research and trends, innovative thinking and learning methodologies to maintain Think People’s reputation as a thought leader and provide a range of solutions for clients current and future needs.
  • Business development, including involvement in commercial activities to develop and market Think People with new and existing clients.

Essential

  • 3rd level education in a HR or Business related subject or other relevant qualification and a minimum of 2 years at experience at the appropriate level for the role OR a minimum of 4 years at experience at the appropriate level for the role
  • A Talent Development professional with experience working in in the design and delivery of people development programmes including leadership, management and professionals skills.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with a history of successfully managing customer (internal or external) projects to deadlines, within budget and with meaningful evaluation of value.
  • Experience of working with senior leaders and stakeholders, developing long term relationships.
  • Experience of influencing and negotiating at every level to deliver win-win outcomes.
  • Driving license, with the ability to travel to client sites across the Island of Ireland and UK when necessary.

Desirable

  • Experience in a consultancy or similar professional environment.
  • Coaching qualification and experience.
  • CIPD qualified/member.
  • Experience of developing winning proposals and tender responses across the public and private sector.
  • Account management experience, ensuring great service and the ability to develop business with existing clients though understanding their needs, plans and providing relevant services and solutions.

Role Profile

A Think People HR Consultant role offers variety through working on a number of varied projects at one time. These projects will vary from month to month based on client’s needs. This role offers you the opportunity to build key relationships with retained clients becoming part of their business model when offering expert HR advice. This role will challenge your commerciality balanced with employment law and best practice requirements. In an ever developing role you will develop new skills and learn processes you may not have had the opportunity to before.

Key responsibilities:

  • Delivery of the highest quality HR/ER support and advice to Think People’s clients across the breadth of operational HR functions.
  • Project Lead and manage HR Projects amongst existing and new client relationships.
  • Retention of current clients through exceptional service, expert advice and support.
  • Design, develop and implement of policies, procedures and processes that provide up to date and best practice foundations for day to day people management.
  • Provision of onsite support to clients on a full range of HR requirements including disciplinary, grievances and other employee related issues.
  • Advise and provide hands on support to implementation of organisational reviews, reorganisations and redundancy programmes.
  • Advise, design and support recruitment and selection processes relevant to client needs.
  • Bring new thinking to organisations to allow the development of their HR function, to support best practice, develop successful leaders and add value.
  • Build long term, lasting relationships to become a trusted advisor, supporting clients through challenges and opportunities.
  • Business development, including involvement in commercial activities to develop and market our services to new and existing clients.

Essential

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience of a consultancy or HR background where advising and supporting clients on complex and varied HR issues within NI Employment Law was a main part of the role.
  • Substantial experience of conducting complex HR projects and/or ER processes.
  • 3rd level education in a relevant subject.
  • Experience designing, implementing and advising on HR best practice on policies, procedures and processes, including the delivery of training for managers and business stakeholders.
  • Experience of designing and delivering training on HR employment matters.
  • Strong experience of building professional relationships.
  • The ability to adapt to and manage a varying workload.
  • High level of accuracy and detail.
  • A driving license with ability to travel to client sites.

Desirable

  • 2:1 or higher in HR, Law or Business related subject.
  • 4 years’ experience in a consultancy or similar environment.
  • Awareness of RoI and GB employment law.
  • Experience of implementing Organisation and People development initiatives and programmes.
  • Experience of planning and implementing HR change projects e.g. job evaluation, reorganisations, redundancies and TUPE.
  • A coaching, mediation or other relevant HR Qualification.

Role Profile

The Marketing & Events Co-Ordinator is a fast paced role focused building the Think People brand through targeted and evaluated marketing activities. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of our marketing strategy as well as delivering marketing initiatives and events in order to increase our brand impact and awareness. This will also involve other aspects such as tenders and proposals preparation, event and exhibition management, attending networking events and developing our internal marketing collateral.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to be engaged in key decisions in relation to our messaging, branding and communication strategies, the development of our product and service proposition and ultimately, our sales plans.

What are we looking for?

A person motivated by a career in marketing with at least a 2.1 in a degree that includes significant Marketing or Business Communications plus at least 2 years’ experience in a fast paced organisation carrying out a similar role.

OR

3 years commercial marketing experience in a professional services organisation where marketing was your primary function.

It is important any applicant can provide demonstrable experience in the following:

  • Knowledge and strategy of marketing campaigns.
  • Managing a range of marketing projects.
  • Running and analysing marketing activities including social media campaigns.
  • Developing the use of Social Media Platforms to reach a targeted customer base.
  • Developing an organisations and individual team member’s social media presence in the marketplace.
  • Producing impactful and creative marketing collateral.
  • Communicating and building relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Keeping on top of marketing trends.
  • It is desirable that this experience is within a professional services environment.
